Opening OpenLab

The OpenLab on the Siebensternplatz in Vienna opens its gates!

At the offical OpenLab kickoff, scientists and renowned experts discussed the requirements of sustainable architecture for climate protection and the value of real estate.

The listed rooms with more than 200 square meters offer extensive possibilities for information events, exhibitions and roundtables on a large and small scale.

Discussions in the public

For the ten-year anniversary, Hausverstand.Com brings the OpenLab with discussions on urban planning and architecture topics with the participation of the press on the road.

At Siebensternplatz in Vienna representatives of the industry met with planners and the general public. In three panels there was information and discussion: on the difficulty of the renovation of Wilhelminian style houses, the chances of community construction and housing and the use of natural building and insulating materials.

Seminars for planners

For the first time, seminars and exhibitions for planners in close collaboration with ministries, magistrates, colleges and associations were on the programme.

Among other things, seminars and workshops on building-greenery and accessibility - also in public space - took place.

The expert panel on daylight and health was the prelude to the establishment of the window center in Vienna (Fenster Zentrum Wien).
